A shot these photos of Frida Viola and I in the treadmill at the playground the other day. It was fun.
Being a family living in an apartment in the city with no garden, we visit playgrounds alot.

Lena Corwin posted on some fantastic playgrounds in New York.
Here and here and here are some of mine favourite playgrounds in Copenhagen.
Do you have any favourites or good places for kids you could recommend...?

And don't forget the giveaway # 1 - just leave a comment, winner will be found Sunday September 2 :)

I have kept an eye on Baggu and their simple bags for some time, and a while ago we finally ordered a couple of items - a tote in coral, an iPad cover in sailor stripes and a couple of reusable bags for our groceries. They have been in daily use ever since they arrived, and I thought I would make a little recommendation because the bags have proved to be so useful. The photos don't really convey the sense of the fabric that is both beautiful and very sturdy. Furthermore the prices are very reasonable even when you include the shipping costs.

I stumbled over these photos of designer Isabel Wilson's Williamsburg loft at Freunde von Freunden.
The old dream of a Brooklyn loft is still alive.

I have been wanting to bake the whole grain chocolate cookies from 3191 Miles Apart for so long and finally tried them out last week. As you know I love cakes made with whole grain flour (and coconut!) and these are no exception. They are so good!
For once I followed the recipe closely - except that I used whole grain spelt flour instead of wheat and walnut oil instead of canola oil. I tried to translate the recipe to Danish, converting 1 cup to 2 ½ dl:

finurlig giveaway # 1

I have been making this kind of simple necklaces with a mix of ceramic and wooden beads over the summer. I have been so happy to wear them and thought it might be time for a giveaway at the blog - something I have never done before :)
All you have to do is to write a comment and mark if you prefer the yellow or the rose necklace (two photos below). I will choose a winner at random next Sunday evening and post it here.
The necklaces are made with Chinese jewelry cord with a simple knot in the neck and small metal beads at the ends. You can click at the photos to see them enlarged.

Little Warrior

It wasn't until recently that I discovered the wonderful children's wear from Little Warrior. The clothes are simple, but with beautiful details, and the little poncho makes a real little warrior.

Photo 1 & 4 from Mohawk General Store, the rest from Little Warrior.

Dansk Kobenstyle

I was happy to see that the beautiful enamel cookware designed by Jens Quistgaard in 1956 for Dansk has been reintroduced and is now being sold at Crate & Barrel. When I moved to my first apartment of my own my grandmom gave me a couple of used items in white enamel that I haven't been clever enough to take proper care of. This casserole is on my wish list.

Via Lena Corwin.

These suits from popupshop look exactly like something I would like to wear in this warm weather.
